About the Junior Ambassador Program
Our Junior Ambassador Program is for enthusiastic young golfers who want to share their love of the game with new junior members. As an ambassador, you become a friendly guide for juniors joining our courses. The program helps create a welcoming community.
We select a small group each season. You do not need to be the best golfer. What matters is your willingness to help, a positive attitude, and the ability to make others feel at ease.
What Ambassadors Do
Your main role is to welcome new junior golfers. You might greet them at the first tee, show them around the clubhouse and practice areas, or explain basic etiquette. Ambassadors also help during junior clinics by leading warm-ups or demonstrating skills.
Another key duty is helping new juniors find playing partners. You can introduce players of similar age or skill level and encourage them to book rounds together. When you see someone alone on the range, invite them to join a group. These gestures build friendships.
Ambassadors also share feedback with our staff. You tell us what new juniors enjoy and what challenges they face. Your insights shape our junior programs each year.
What Ambassadors Gain
Being a Junior Ambassador builds leadership and communication skills. Guiding others develops confidence and patience. You gain experience working alongside other ambassadors and professional staff.

Best of all is the satisfaction of helping someone love golf. The program also shows initiative and community commitment on resumes and school applications.
How Ambassadors Are Selected
Selection is based on a few key qualities. You must be a junior member in good standing at one of our courses. You should have a solid understanding of golf etiquette and rules. Enthusiasm and reliability are essential.
We look for approachable, patient, and clear communicators. Previous experience helping others is an asset but not required. You must commit to at least one full season, with availability for events and some weekends.
The nomination process opens each spring. A parent or guardian can submit a short application on your behalf. Our junior committee reviews applications and invites selected candidates for a brief interview. The team is announced before summer begins.
If you are not selected, we encourage you to apply again. Many current ambassadors applied more than once. We value persistence and dedication.
