Junior Camps

Junior Camps

A Typical Day at Camp

Our junior day camps run from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Each day is structured to balance skill development with fun on the course. We begin with a warm-up and a short group meeting to outline the morning’s goals. Then we rotate through stations focused on putting, chipping, full swing, and course strategy. After a supervised lunch break, the afternoon includes on-course play and a friendly challenge or game that reinforces the skills learned. We adjust the schedule based on weather and group needs, ensuring a positive experience for every young golfer.

Throughout the day, campers receive individual feedback from our instructors and plenty of time to practice. We incorporate short breaks for water and rest, and we keep the tone encouraging and low-pressure. By the end of the week, each camper will have completed a short nine-hole round on our junior-friendly course layout, building confidence and a love for the game.

Group Sizes by Age and Ability

We keep group sizes small to give every camper personal attention. Our camps are divided into two main age groups: ages 6–9 and ages 10–14. Within each age group, we further split participants by ability—beginner, intermediate, and advanced. This allows instruction to match each camper’s current skill level and goals.

For the 6–9 group, typical sessions have a maximum of eight campers per instructor. These sessions focus on basic grip, stance, and swing mechanics, along with fun games that teach course etiquette. The 10–14 group has a maximum of ten campers per instructor. Intermediate and advanced players work on shot shaping, course management, and scoring strategies, while beginners in this age range receive a thorough foundation in the fundamentals.

We reassess groupings on the first day based on observed skill levels, so your child will be placed where they can learn best alongside peers of similar ability.

Equipment Provided and What to Bring

We supply all necessary golf equipment for camp. This includes junior-sized clubs in various lengths, practice balls, tees, and training aids such as alignment sticks and putting mats. Campers do not need to bring their own clubs, though they are welcome to if they have a set that fits them well and they feel comfortable using it.

Please have your child wear comfortable athletic clothing and sneakers or golf shoes. A hat or cap, sunscreen (preferably waterproof), a refillable water bottle, and a packed nut-free lunch are essential. We recommend bringing a light rain jacket in case of summer showers. No electronic devices, personal golf balls, or valuable items should be brought to camp.
