About Golffoxwood

Who We Are
Golffoxwood is a group of public golf courses located across Ontario. We are a collection of courses that share a common purpose: to provide you with a welcoming, straightforward golf experience from the moment you arrive. Each course is open to the public, and we take pride in being part of the communities we serve.
Our courses are managed independently, but we operate under shared standards for service, course care, and playability. Whether you are a new golfer or a seasoned player, you will find a consistent approach to the game across our group. We focus on what matters most: fair conditions, friendly staff, and a pace that lets you enjoy your round.
Distinct Courses, One Standard
No two Golffoxwood courses are alike. We offer a range of layouts that reflect the natural landscape of each region. One course may weave through rolling hardwood forest, while another opens into wide, windswept fairways with links-style bunkering. Some of our courses test your accuracy with narrow tree-lined corridors, and others reward distance with generous landing areas.
Despite these differences, every course in our group meets the same standard for conditioning and guest experience. You will find well-defined fairways, true-rolling greens, and properly maintained bunkers at each location. Our tees are clearly marked, and our yardage guides are accurate. We believe variety in design should never mean a variable in quality.
Each course also has its own personality. Some are shorter and walker-friendly, ideal for a relaxing evening round. Others are longer and demand a full bag of shots. We encourage you to try them all and discover which style suits your game best.
What to Expect as a Visiting Golfer
When you arrive at a Golffoxwood course, you can expect a straightforward sign-in process and friendly staff who know the course well. Our pro shops are stocked with the essentials, and our practice areas give you a chance to warm up before you tee off. Range balls and rental equipment are available at most locations.
- Well-marked cart paths and directional signage throughout the course
- On-course rest stations with water and ball washes at select holes
- Scorecards with accurate course rating and slope information
- Starter assistance to ensure you are paired and ready on time
We welcome golfers of all abilities. Our tee boxes offer multiple yardage options, and many of our courses have forward tees that make the game accessible for beginners and seniors. You will not find pretension here, only a genuine love for the game and a desire to see you enjoy your round.
Our Approach to Conditioning and Pace of Play
We take course conditioning seriously without over-promising perfection. Our maintenance teams follow a consistent schedule of mowing, rolling, aerating, and topdressing to keep fairways firm and greens smooth. We adjust our practices based on seasonal conditions and the specific needs of each course. If aeration has recently taken place, we will let you know before you book.
Pace of play is a priority for us. We set tee time intervals that allow groups to spread out naturally, and we have marshals on course during peak hours to monitor flow. We encourage ready golf and ask that you keep up with the group ahead of you. If you fall behind, a marshal may offer a friendly reminder or suggest that you let the group behind play through. We believe a four-hour round is a reasonable goal for most groups.
Our approach is simple: give you a course that is well cared for and a pace that respects your time. We want you to finish your round feeling that you got exactly what you came for.
