Our Commitment to Accessible Golf
We believe golf is for everyone. We work to remove barriers so that all golfers can enjoy the game. Our courses follow the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA). We continue to improve access across all our facilities. We listen to your feedback and act on it. Our goal is to make every visit as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We assess our courses and clubhouses regularly. We train our staff to assist you with respect and dignity. If you encounter any barrier, please let us know. We will address it promptly.
Adaptive Equipment and Course Access
Single-rider adaptive carts are available at select courses. These carts allow you to drive yourself around the course if you use a wheelchair or have limited mobility. They are designed for stability and ease of use. The carts can navigate paths and fairways where standard carts travel. Contact us in advance to reserve one for your round. Availability may be limited, so advance notice is essential.
We also provide accessible parking spaces close to each clubhouse. Paths from the parking lot to the entrance are level or gently sloped. Clubhouse entrances are step-free or have ramps where needed. Accessible washrooms are available in most clubhouses. If you need help with any facility, our staff are ready to assist.
On the course, we have made adaptations where practical. Some courses feature accessible routes from tee boxes to greens. Let us know your specific needs when you book. We can give you information about the course layout relative to your mobility requirements.
Planning Your Round: Quiet Times and Accommodations
If you prefer a quieter environment, consider playing during less busy times. Early weekday mornings and late afternoons typically have fewer players. Fewer groups mean less noise and more space to move at your own pace. Our staff can suggest the best times at each course.
We can also arrange for a companion to assist you on the course, subject to our policies. Companions may ride in the same cart or walk with you. Contact us in advance to discuss options. We can provide larger-print scorecards or verbal assistance if needed. Let us know if you require a specific tee time to allow for extra time between groups. We will do our best to accommodate.
How to Request Accommodations in Advance
To ensure we meet your needs, please contact us at least 48 hours before your round. Tell us what accommodations you require – an adaptive cart, accessible parking, a companion, or other support. The more detail you provide, the better we can prepare. We will confirm availability and make the necessary arrangements. We cannot guarantee every request, but we will work with you to find a solution.
