Seasonal Openings and Closings
We open our courses each spring as soon as conditions allow, typically from mid-April. Exact opening dates depend on snowmelt and frost. We post confirmed dates here as soon as they are set. Early-season play may involve temporary greens or cart restrictions on soggy fairways. We update this page with daily status during the opening window.
Fall closings usually begin in late October and run through early November. We announce the final weekend of play at least one week in advance. We also close individual holes or practice areas before the full course closes. Check here for the most current information before heading out.
Aeration and Maintenance Windows
Healthy turf requires regular aeration. We schedule core aeration in early May and again in late August. We also perform topdressing and verticutting on greens and tees throughout the season. We announce specific aeration dates at least two weeks in advance so you can plan your round.
- May: core aeration on greens and approaches
- June: fairway aeration as needed
- August: second core aeration on greens
- October: final topdressing before winter
Other maintenance windows include bunker renovations, tree pruning, and irrigation repairs. We post these updates as they arise. We appreciate your patience while the course recovers; conditions improve quickly.
New Equipment and Course Improvements
This season we added new fairway mowers that deliver a more consistent cut. We also upgraded irrigation controllers on two courses, improving water distribution and reducing dry patches. New tee markers and bench seating now appear at several holes.
We rebuilt bunker liners on three holes at one of our courses to prevent washouts after heavy rain. Cart paths have been widened in high-traffic areas, and new directional signs make navigation easier. These investments reflect our commitment to a quality round for every player.
We also test new equipment such as sprayers and rollers. Any visible changes to course presentation will be noted here.
Event Recaps
We host several tournaments and charity events each season. Our annual Member-Guest tournament saw a full field and ideal weather. We also ran a junior clinic series that introduced new golfers to the game. We share key results and course conditions from each event in this section.
After each event, we note any temporary adjustments made to the course, such as alternate hole locations or extra grooming.
